12 Naxalites Surrender in Chhattisgarh, Return to Mainstream

They also deposited their weapons and ammunition with police officials.
Officials stated that these Naxalites had been involved in various violent activities for several years, including attacks on security forces, obstructing road construction, and intimidating local residents.The Director General of Police (DGP) termed this surrender a significant achievement.
