Where to apply
- voters.eci.gov.in portal or the Voter Helpline app
- Sign up with your mobile number and fill Form-6 (new registration)
Documents
- Age proof — birth certificate, Class 10 marksheet, Aadhaar
- Address proof — electricity/water bill, bank passbook, rent agreement
- Passport-size photo
What happens next
After BLO verification your name is added to the roll and the e-EPIC (digital voter card) can be downloaded from the portal/app. The physical card arrives by post. Track your application with the reference number.
Moved house?
Use Form-8 to shift constituencies — the EPIC number stays the same.
