Rajasthan witnessed a sudden change in weather across nine districts on Friday. Strong winds accompanied by sandstorms swept through several areas, disrupting daily life. The capital city, Jaipur, also experienced a shift in weather patterns, with hailstones falling in many parts of the city, leading to a drop in temperature.

Visibility was significantly reduced in the districts affected by the sandstorm, impacting vehicular movement on roads. People were advised to stay indoors as dusty winds and strong gusts continued unabated.
Pali district bore the brunt of the severe weather. A large tree was uprooted due to the strong winds, and tragically, a child died on the spot after being caught in its fall. This incident caused deep sorrow among the local residents.
In the same incident, a motorcyclist was also severely injured by the falling tree. The injured individual was immediately rushed to a local hospital, where they are currently undergoing treatment. Doctors have stated their condition is stable, but they remain under observation.
Farmers in Jaipur are also concerned due to the hailstorm, although no major damage has been reported so far. The hailstones briefly covered the roads in white, transforming the city's appearance.
The administration has urged people in the affected districts to remain vigilant and avoid unnecessary outdoor activities. Disaster management teams are prepared to handle any emergency and are continuously monitoring the situation.
Fluctuations in weather are expected to continue in the coming days. The Meteorological Department has issued a warning for dusty winds and light rain in a few more districts for the next 24 hours, advising people to exercise extra caution.
