Mahtari Vandan Yojana is the Chhattisgarh government's flagship scheme paying eligible married women ₹1000 every month directly into their bank account.
Eligibility
- Married woman resident of Chhattisgarh (widows, divorced and abandoned women also eligible)
- Age 21 or above
- Family should not be income-tax payers or in government service
Checking your instalment
On the official portal mahtarivandan.cgstate.gov.in, use "Application & Payment Status" with your mobile number or application ID. Payment is via DBT, so the bank account must be active and Aadhaar-seeded.
If a payment stops
- Check bank KYC and Aadhaar seeding
- Contact your Anganwadi centre or the Women & Child Development office
- Keep the registered mobile number active
